COVID-19 changed travel, but as borders open up we want to give you peace of mind as you see the world. BNZ Advantage Visa Platinum and Advantage Business travel policies now include cover for some of the risks you face as a result of COVID-19 and other epidemic or pandemic illnesses.
Coverage is subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance policy, including any applicable limitations and exclusions.
*Relative – means your spouse, parent, parent-in-law, son, daughter, sister, brother, grandchild, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, guardian, fiancé, fiancée, half-brother, half-sister, niece or nephew, resident in New Zealand and under 80 years of age at the time you purchased the travel for your journey.
Insurance can support you for unexpected costs, but to keep insurance affordable there are some things that we can’t cover. Your policy provides cover for medical or cancellation costs if your trip is impacted by you or your relative being medically diagnosed with COVID-19, but excludes all other claims arising from epidemics or pandemics.
